The Use of Gold and Silver in Medicine
Not only for beautiful jewelry, but gold and silver have also been used in medicine for centuries, although their modern uses are different and more targeted.
In Medicine, gold has been used for the Treatment of arthritis, for the Diagnosis and for the treatment of tumors. However, excessive use can lead to side effects, such as the condition called argyria, which causes a bluish coloration of the skin.
